Five reasons why your business needs a blog

Are you an entrepreneur or a marketing director and have not yet opened a corporate blog for your business? It's a shame because a blog would help your business invoice more. There are many statistics about it!

A blog gives a business a whole host of benefits. You don't have to be a big brand to enjoy these benefits. A corporate blog can have any company.

And the blog works in any sector, in B2C as in B2B, regardless of whether your company sells products or services.

In short: the corporate blog is a business tool suitable for everyone and capable of giving a strong boost to the lead generation of any company. In times of crisis or stagnant market, a company blog is an undoubted competitive advantage over your competitors.

If you are one of those entrepreneurs who have understood the importance of a corporate blog but are still undecided about whether to open it or not, this post of mine was written especially for you. I'll show five simple reasons why creating a corporate blog within your institutional site is recommended. Let's start right away with the first point.

  1. A corporate blog allows you to publish content that is indexed by Google and other search engines. This allows your business to have more visibility online. Among other things, this is the most effective type of visibility, because it is the one that intercepts potential customers while they are in the research phase, that is, while they show a problem and are looking for a concrete solution. What if you provided the solution yourself?

  2. Having a corporate blog means giving a strong boost to your lead generation. Blogging attracts more potential customers than your business website alone. If the company manages to produce content of real value, increases post conversions, and the number of potential customers who contact the company.

  3. A corporate blog attracts inbound links to its posts. This implies a very precise fact from the point of view of SEO: the blog acquires authority in the eyes of Google, and with it also the corporate website that hosts it. More authority for Google means the better placement of posts in the search engine SERPs. Thus, it means that more potential customers will find your web content. As a reflection, your lead generation will benefit enormously.

  4. Not infrequently blog posts are shared on social media by their readers. If you are capable of creating quality content for your target – and you have included social sharing buttons on the blog – visitors will be able to share your posts on their social profiles. All free advertising for your business!

  5. A business blog is a more effective tool than image advertising. I have two particular statistics in mind, which I want to share with you. The first: 81% of blog visitors trust the advice and information they read in the posts. The second: 70% of web users trust the contents of a company blog more than the advertising that the same company does. In short: the corporate blog is perceived by potential customers as a more sincere means of communication. It's not strange that this is the case if you think about it. Because content marketing requires you to create value for your target audience. And that's something traditional advertising doesn't do because it has another goal. In other words: the posts of a corporate blog help the company to be perceived as authoritative, expert, and reliable. This advertising does not because it is solely focused on promoting the business.

These are just some of the reasons why you should launch your company's corporate blog. If you are an entrepreneur or marketing director, you should seriously consider this opportunity. Because a blog, if managed consistently and professionally, increases the value of your image and your ability to attract target customers.
